Palatine Stingrays


The Palatine Stingrays are the organized travel softball team located in Palatine, Illinois. The Palatine Stingrays are an extension of Palatine Youth Baseball/Softball and Palatine Baseball/Softball. The Stingrays organziation is committed to developing sound softball mechanics and fundamentals as well as confidence in all Stingray players. 


The Palatine Stingrays compete in the North Shore Fast Pitch League. Tournament schedules consist of USSSA, ASA, NSA, and PGF qualifiers.  In 2014 the 14U team attended the USSSA Nationals in Kansas City, Missouri and finished in the top 8. The 12U team attended the USSSA Nationals in South Carolina and finished 2nd. In 2015, both the U14 and U10 teams will attend the USSSA Nationals in Salisbury, Maryland.


Teams typically play 2-3 tournaments in the fall along with several scrimmages in September and October. Indoor workouts are held from January-March.  The spring/summer season begins in March with approximately 7-9 tournaments in addition to 15-18 league games and additional scrimmages. There is typically 1-2 tournaments requiring out of town travel.  The season concludes the 3rd week of July.
